Checkerboard study (pink / yellow) is a light-responsive painting that explores the tension between structure and movement. A checkerboard of luminous pink and pale yellow bends and stretches across the surface, its geometry disrupted by a shifting field of iridescent green, gold, and orange. The textured resin surface further distorts the pattern, creating a sense of movement that changes with the light and viewer’s position.
Mounted on a natural wood cradle panel and ready to hang, this piece is signed on the reverse and best displayed in natural or directional lighting to enhance its iridescent and color-shifting qualities.
