Colored Shadow is a light-responsive painting inspired by the shapes of light and shadow cast through windows. Architectural forms in luminous pink, yellow, and pale blue emerge against a shifting green and blue iridescent field. The forms exist somewhere between the window itself and the image it leaves behind, blurring the distinction between object, light, and reflection. Its textured resin surface catches and refracts light, causing the colors to shift with the viewer’s position.
Mounted on a natural wood panel, this piece is signed on the reverse and best displayed in natural or directional lighting to enhance its iridescent and color-shifting qualities.
