Devotion is a light-responsive painting composed of intersecting arches and geometric fields of shifting color. Drawing on the structure of stained glass and recurring forms of windows and portals, the composition moves between architectural pattern and abstraction. Translucent fields of pink, violet, blue, green, and amber are divided by dark iridescent lines, creating a luminous surface that changes dramatically with the surrounding light and the viewer’s position.

Folds and variations in the cellophane create a dimensional surface that catches and reflects light differently across the composition, allowing individual colors and forms to emerge or recede as the work is viewed from different angles.

Mounted on a natural wood cradle panel, this piece is signed on the reverse and ready to hang. Best displayed in natural or directional lighting to enhance its iridescent and color-shifting qualities.
