Moon

Original artwork by Abby Sin

Iridescent cellophane, resin, acrylic paint on cradled wood panel 24" H × 24" W × 1" D 2023

Moon is a circular, light-reactive painting composed of layered iridescent materials that shift from shimmering yellow to beetle green, depending on the light and viewing angle. The glossy resin surface enhances the subtle textures beneath, creating luminous oil-slick effects that ripple across the work in quiet, celestial motion. Mounted on a natural wood cradle panel and wired for hanging, this piece is signed on the reverse. Best appreciated in natural or angled light, it offers an ever-changing visual experience—hovering between stillness and movement.
