Iridescent cellophane, resin, acrylic paint on transparent acrylic shadow box panel 11" H × 9" W × 0.75" D 2018
Redshift is a vivid, light-responsive painting suspended within a clear acrylic shadow box. Its layered surface shifts from glowing reds and fiery copper tones to deep magentas and flashes of electric blue, depending on the angle and lighting. As light moves across the work, it activates a glowing interplay of reflections and prismatic shadows on the surrounding wall, creating a sense of atmospheric depth and motion. This piece is ready to hang and is best displayed in natural or directional light to fully activate its color-shifting surface.
