Yellow Moon / Green Haze is a light-responsive painting centered around a luminous yellow orb suspended within a shifting field of green, blue, and bronze. Drawing on recurring celestial forms of moons and eclipses, the simple circular shape remains ambiguous, reading at once as an object, an opening, or a source of light. The densely textured, iridescent surface creates a hazy atmosphere around the central form, shifting in color and depth as the light and viewer’s position change.
Mounted on a natural wood panel and wired for hanging, this piece is signed on the reverse and best displayed in natural or directional lighting to enhance its iridescent and color-shifting qualities.
